The Sky Larkin tour is well underway having already hit Brighton, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen, but here’s a quick reminder that there are still plenty of dates left with Manchesters Dutch Uncles.
18/09 Aldershot | West End Centre
20/09 London | Lexington
21/09 Cambridge | Haymakers
22/09 York | Fibbers £6
23/09 Leeds | Brudenell Social Club

  1. Gravatar Rodney Wood Says:

    The brochure compared them to:
    Surfer Blood, Secret Cities,
    The Guggenheim Grotto,
    Fake Problems, Clinic,
    Zowie, Simian Mobile Disco,
    White Car, Broken Social Scene,
    Electric Sunset,
    Handsome Boy Modelling School,
    Detachments,
    The Breeders, Violent Femmes,
    the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
    Junk Culture, Bottles,
The Black Angels and the Cribs
    (who I wrongly thought
were a gang from West Side Story)

    Sky would take the stage
    (by a combination of ladders
    and chiming guitars).
In two hours time and to pass the time
    were watching their support bands
    from behind crazy speakers.
    The first was a singer/songwriter/guitarist
    who was depressing
    and unspectacular.
    Before her final song
    she shouted at the mic
Dad, Dad can you tune my guitar for me?
    Sky shook their heads
    couldn’t stop screaming in their
    slightly grungy-punkiness manner
    and went backstage
for really strong cup of coffee.
