Happy July everybody,

Hope you enjoyed the free sneak-peek EP prelude to our new record. As another ankle-flashing tease we offer you a listen to the first single proper (7″, iTunes, B-sides, remixes, possibly a commemorative plate) from Kaleide, ‘Still Windmills’. ‘Still Windmills’ has made it onto super-gent Steve Lamacq’s Rebel Playlist Vote. This means if we get enough clicks then our song will be played on every daytime 6music show. And we heart 6Music. So please spread the word and help us out? Here’s a new mixtape from Nestor as a thank you.

Being in direct competition with other bands does however feels weird and battle-of-the-bands-y (Hi Male Bonding! Not met you Villagers but we’re kind of label cousins) but at the end of the day the winner will be Football, I mean Music. And if we lose we can always blame our managers right? I went to see an England match at a sports-pub-chain and I’m scarred for life (“just f’in skin ‘em!”).

Also, are you a photographer that would be interested in taking part in an online collaborative Sky Larkin photo-project? Top secret at the moment, but involves no expense on your part and can be done from the comfort of your own home.
